Position Description:

SUMMARY

Supporting associates in a multi-site WAN/VPN network environment

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Resolve internal computer support telephone calls
  • Manage phones in Mobile Device Management and Carrier Portal
  • Diagnose computer hardware and software related problems
  • Perform computer upgrades with data migration
  • Manage and Track help desk tickets/support requests via help desk system
  • Diagnose and resolve associate IT support requests
  • Procure and manage technology assets
  • Set up PCs and install/maintain applications; provide on-going support
  • Work with Imaging server on workstation setup
  • Familiar with standard workstation encryption
  • Handle other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

EDUCATION/EXPEREINCE

  • 4 year degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or a combination of education and experience
  • A+, Net+ and Microsoft Desktop Systems and IT Support certifications preferred
  • Help Desk ticketing system, Corporate Accounting systems, Software VPN
  • Working knowledge of current Windows desktop and Microsoft Office Suites
  • Active Directory Users and Groups (Level 1)
  • At least 2 years proven help desk and PC support experience required
  • Proven track record of working with third party vendors and issue resolution
  • Familiarity with VOIP phones system
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong problem solving skills in an IT support setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical information/concepts in non-technical, easy to understand terms
  • Ability to interact and communicate in a professional manner with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work in stressful situations, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to be involved in all aspects of IT, including the flexibility to travel locally and assist in after-hours projects

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Ability to move, and transport computer related equipment up to 35 lbs. This may involve local travel to other offices for computer setup.
