Position Description:

With direction from IT managers and using independent judgment and discretion, this position maintains the Lincoln Harris server and network infrastructure. This includes helping to plan and implement significant enhancements and upgrades of a complex nature of our technology infrastructure.

Maintaining internal VMware vSphere virtual infrastructure.

Setup and maintenance of Microsoft Windows server platform.

Monitoring of servers and operating systems using network monitoring software and be available to respond to reported issues which on occasion fall outside of regular business hours.

Setup and administration of SharePoint 2016 server as well as some SharePoint development.

Setup and administration of Skype for Business 2015 server.

Deploying images and distribution of Windows and third party updates using Microsoft Systems Center.

Administration and Maintenance of Cisco Firewall, Routers, Switches, WLC and AP’s.

Maintain support levels for related system issues via internal task/project tracking system(s)

Handle other as assigned

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field of study, or equivalent industry qualifications.

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing network infrastructure support in a comparable environment.

Ability to work outside of normal business hours, primarily in the event of an emergency or implementation of new systems/upgrades which will need to be done after hours.

Requires some travel for new site start-ups and upgrades.

Proven experience with current Microsoft Technology

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Ability to present ideas and solutions in business-friendly and user-friendly language.

Highly self-motivated and self-directed. Keen attention to detail.

On-call support that might involve weekend or night coverage as assigned.

Experience with Server 2008R2 and 2012R2 (including Active Directory and IIS).
