Position Description:

Perform complex financial and operational analysis to support short- and long-term strategic plans, operating budgets, and transactions

Perform general administrative functions to support Brokerage team (i.e. schedule events and lunches, type correspondence, fax, scan, download pictures from digital camera, coordinate mailings and overnight packages, etc.)

Evaluate data, prepare forecasts, analyze trends, and present results pertaining to operations, projects, vendor contracts, leases, and other areas

Create brokerage transaction packages to be presented to clients as well as client driven requests for proposals

Financial modeling for various “what if” scenarios and the overall impact to the portfolio for acquisitions, dispositions, terminations, and consolidations

Assist with annual and quarterly forecasting of revenue and operating expenses

Develop presentations utilizing charts, graphs, maps, and models relative to the operations of Real Estate Services for leadership regarding the annual budget, monthly and quarterly actual to forecast analysis, and other operations of Real Estate Services

Utilize data mining and on line research skills to support financial analysis

Conduct market analysis utilizing on-site field tours, communication and interaction with the brokerage community, and a variety of database services and other tools (CRCBR CPE, CoStar, LoopNet, County GIS sites, etc.)

Ensure information on leased properties is accurate and current in CoStar, LoopNet, Karnes, Real Data, Polaris, etc.; follow-up with Brokers as necessary

Respond to questions, forms, and surveys from outside sources concerning recent brokerage transactions and projects

Track all deals/transactions handled by Brokers; assist with monthly transaction reporting

In conjunction with the Marketing team, develop and implement marketing strategies for projects via brochures, presentations, and promotional activities

Assist Brokers with market surveys which may include demographics, maps, building information

Revise flyers and floor plans as needed; distribute flyers and floor plans or property information via mail and email

Assist Brokers with canvassing new clients, space showings, qualifying prospects, etc.

Create, maintain, and update property activity reports for clients

Perform research and analysis on leasing activity, inventory, etc., to aid in business planning and strategy development

Provide light administrative support to leadership team

Handle other duties as assigned


Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred

1 – 3 years of Financial experience preferred; Marketing experience helpful

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, and SharePoint required

Familiarity with data query/data management tools extremely helpful (Access, SQL); ARGUS and InDesign experience preferred

Strong quantitative and qualitative decision making skills required

Must maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality

Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions and the desire to learn, grow, and advance

Strong financial analysis experience with the ability to construct complex financial models

Ability to work under pressure, set priorities, and meet deadlines

Ability to be flexible to handle multiple and changing priorities; sense of urgency

Ability to maintain a proactive approach and a readiness to handle Client concerns and processes as well as unexpected emergencies

Word processing (60+ wpm), graphics, spreadsheets, presentation skills

Ability to exercise independent judgment

Strong interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of organization

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Real Estate license preferred; willing to obtain
