In this site, there is a need to display the same person in different places in the site with different titles!
I accomplish this by allowing the same person to be entered multiple times in the database, each with different titles and departments.
This can be confusing and not ideal, especially when you need to update the person’s info. Be sure to use the search feature to find all occurrences of the person.
One other note about the Person shortcode: unlike the rest of the LPC sites, which use the person’s full name to display a person using the shortcode, in this site you use the slug. That’s because the people’s names can be duplicated while the slugs are unique.
